NETHERLANDS COUNTRY SESSION

India and the Netherlands share a long-standing maritime partnership grounded in innovation, sustainability, and trade connectivity. This maritime partnership is poised to accelerate sustainable and digital transformation. This seminar will focus on two pivotal themes: Green and Digital Sea Corridor and Maritime Financing. These topics represent critical areas for enhancing maritime connectivity, promoting clean technologies, smart infrastructure, and mobilizing innovative financing mechanisms to support the sustainable development of ports and shipping. With growing global focus on decarbonization, digitalization, and resilient supply chains, advancing green and digital maritime solutions has become essential.

The dialogue aims to foster knowledge-sharing, identify collaborative opportunities, and outline actionable strategies for scaling maritime sustainability and investment. It aims to bring together government representatives, industry leaders, and experts from both nations to explore collaborative.

Key objectives:

• To foster dialogue on developing green and digital sea corridors between key Indian and Dutch ports

• To share insights on innovative financing models that can support sustainable port and shipping investments

• To strengthen institutional, industrial, and policy partnerships between both nations’ maritime ecosystems
