DENMARK COUNTRY SESSION
Denmark and India are advancing their bilateral maritime collaboration on a government and commercial level. Denmark is an old and big maritime nation, with strongholds in shipping, digitalization, efficiency and green solutions. India is advancing as a future global maritime superpower, with investments and policy initiatives aimed at ship building, ports, green technologies, fuels, and so on. Together, the two maritime nations are working together to realize the objectives defined in Maritime India Vision 2030 and the Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047 through the bilateral Government-to-Government Indo-Danish Centre of Excellence in Green Shipping. An overarching theme within the CoE is efficiency in the maritime sector and how to advance this from a government and industry point of view.
